We had a chili feed at our church today, and I took lots of photographs, as always. Here are some good friends of mine.

When I do group shots with people, it’s fairly handy to have an assistant. Alyson has proven to be quite adept. She’s good with people and has an eye for detail, catching the things I miss. I also get her to be a test subject while I set up lighting, so as not to make the group stand impatiently while I adjust things.

Every now and again, while I test, I get a good photograph of her.
