The other day, my friends Paul Rohde and Peter Boysen decided to have an impromptu photo shoot to play with some of Paul’s new lighting gear. My girlfriend Alyson put up with us taking photographs and took a few herself.

Some of my friends decided to be really awesome, so they all chipped in to buy me a sweet new lens for Christmas. I have been saving to get this lens for a while now, and Paul Rohde had the idea to get it for me, with the help of some of my friends (Peter Boysen, Andy Hamilton, Amy Kopitzke, Alyson Norgaard, Dan Elo, Dave Priebe, Priscilla Priebe, Ingrid Ogren, and Chad Wardwell).

So I am a bit excited. Here are some pictures with the new lens. Thanks guys!

But he is.

My friend, Paul Rohde, had his birthday on Monday. So I spent the evening with him and his family at their house. It’s also one of the first times I have hung out with Paul in a while, because he has been at a school in Utah since July. Needless to say, when you get two photographers together, it’s not long before they start taking pictures.

Thusly: I have pictures of Paul.

I probably will not have anything more to post until Christmas… thus you guys will have to wait a few days pictures. So I guess I’ll be generous, and give you all a seasonal felicitation.
