This guy is really cold.

The color of the day suggests that is might not be that cold, but there was a brisk wind blowing. My trigger finger became stiff very quickly.

There was some pretty thick hoar frost this morning. Sadly there was no sun and everything was frightfully overcast. But with a little bit of playing on the camera and in Lightroom, I came out with some decent images.

So….here’s what happens when you have flooding of record proportions (16 inches of rain in 24 hours!) and you live next to a flood plain…

These pictures were taken late saturday night and early sunday morning. I was able to get some pretty decent shots by waiting for large flashes of lighting… so that’s why some of them look like daylight… when it’s really midnight-ish.

These were mostly taken Sunday morning… after everything subsided. As you can see… we are gonna need a bulldozer…
